Vietnamese Women’s Museum
The Vietnamese Women’s Museum was established in 1987 with a mission of presenting the image and role of Vietnamese women during the wartime as well as peacetime. In addition, the museum is also a place for cultural and educational exchange, working towards gender equality and the advancement of Vietnamese women.
The museum owns thousands of documents and artifacts that were collected from all over Vietnam during 10 years' time. Aside from the regular exhibition system, the museum also organizes many thematic exhibitions with new approaches. After more than 30 years of continuous development and creation, the Vietnamese Women's Museum is now an attractive destination in Hanoi, drawing much attention from domestic and international tourists.

Vietnam Museum of Ethnology
Vietnam Museum of Ethnology is a place that can show you a clear overview of the history and culture of 54 ethnic groups living on the S-shaped land of Vietnam. Formed in 1981 in Hanoi, the Museum is like a comprehensive picture, introducing customs, practices, community culture, and beliefs of ethnic groups in Vietnam.
Passing by three main display areas with tens of thousands of artifacts, images, and vivid footages, you will get lost in a multi-dimensional cultural space of craft villages, folk arts, and folk games. In addition, the Museum of Ethnology also takes you a little further to neighboring Southeast Asian countries, Asia and some other ethnic groups in the world.

Ho Chi Minh Museum
Ho Chi Minh Museum was built according to the wishes of Vietnamese people to express gratitude and an eternal commemoration towards the great contributions of President Ho Chi Minh and determination to look up to his ideology, style, and ethics, which is to unite and strive to build a unified, peaceful, independent, democratic and prosperous Vietnam, friendship and peace with people around the world.
Ho Chi Minh Museum is located within the complex of Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, so you can combine visiting Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Ba Dinh Square, Ho Chi Minh's stilt house, and One Pillar Pagoda; to learn about the history of the country, and to admire the beautiful scenery.
The museum building has the symbol of a white lotus symbolizing the simple and noble life of President Ho Chi Minh.
The opening pavilion (also known as the solemn pavilion) symbolizes the pistil of a white lotus, and the center of the pavilion is the statue of President Ho Chi Minh. Behind the statue is the sun symbol and the image of a banyan tree symbolizing the light and longevity of the entire Vietnamese people. Anyone who sees the work for the first time will love it not only because of its majestic scale but also because of its ethnic and artistic character, every detail is carved very delicately and meticulously.
Inside of the Ho Chi Minh Museum, there are many preserved artifacts related to Uncle Ho's career or works that recreate his life, typically the house simulating Lotus Village in Uncle Ho's hometown. The recreation is sophisticated, simple, and personal.

Vietnam National Museum of History
If you love Vietnamese history, the National Museum of History is the place for you. This museum was founded in 2011, located at the heart of the capital. And after the merger of the Vietnamese History Museum and the Vietnamese Revolution Museum, it has become one of the most attractive tourist destinations in the Hoan Kiem Lake area.
Based on the legacy of the two museums, the National Museum of History has a vast collection of unique and rare artifacts, as well as a trove of historical documents for visitors and researchers. Vietnam National Fine Arts Museum
Established in 1966, the Vietnam Museum of Fine Arts is a place that preserves valuable cultural and artistic heritage treasures of the Vietnamese ethnic communities. The museum currently holds over 18,000 domestic artifacts, representing Vietnamese Fine Arts from prehistoric times to the present according to historical process, genre, and material, making sightseeing more enjoyable.
Originally a French building, the Vietnam Fine Arts Museum has a grand and elegant European architecture. Later, it was renovated and added with Vietnamese village temple architecture features to suit the function of a museum. Therefore, the Vietnam Fine Arts Museum is not only attractive to tourists for the quality of its artifacts, but also for the history and architecture of the building.
In addition to the main exhibition space, the museum also has a special exhibition area, a creative area for children, and a food court.
